Our festival is organized
to benefit Beau Slocumb and his family with their ongoing battle with
Beau’s cancer. Beau’s been in Houston, Texas for the past
6 months and what a better way to show Beau that our small community
is behind him and praying for his recovery than getting together for
a fabulous night of celebration and entertainment. We want everyone
in Middle Georgia to come join us for our show of support so we made
the outdoor concert very affordable. With an advance ticket for only
$20.00 you can hear all (8) groups and stay all afternoon and evening
so tell all of your friends and neighbors and again, come join the fun.
Tickets will be $25.00 per person the day of the concert. Children 12
and under are free. BBQ chicken plates and other concessions will be
sold as well as soft drinks and bottled water. Coolers are even welcome,
so bring your own refreshments, just come! We’ll supply the stars,
Southern music, the food, and you only need to bring yourself and sit
in the pasture in front of our stage or bring a lounge chair, a blanket
and just relax with your friends and family and become a part of our
wonderful community family in support of Beau.
The Bolingbroke Southern
Jam is located at the corner of Pea Ridge Road and Hwy 41 North in Bolingbroke
with parking along Rivoli Road. Unlike other large venues with multiple
bands that may or may not be entertaining, our Jam has the cream of
the crop as they say, and each group has their own following so expect
to be blown away. Come early, come hungry and stay late and with our
line up of the best new and classic bands in Middle Georgia, you will
go away happy and know that you have supported a great cause at the
same time.
Tickets go on sale Saturday
June 20th at 8:00am. Tickets can be purchased on ebay (link provided
on the left) or at local businesses located around Macon and Forsyth.
